Student thanks teacher for pushing them to their goals maybe a little too hard

Teachers always go above and beyond for their students, no matter what. Whether they’re forcing them to get their homework done on time or keeping them out of trouble, teachers are there to make sure their students succeed and grow up to become whatever their little hearts desire.

In the case of Reddit user hate_mail, one student showed his appreciation for her constant encouragement with a very artistic, very literal depiction of how she ‘pushes’ them to reach their own goals.

So, let’s break this card down:

It begins with a lovely note of gratitude for the teacher’s kindness and assistance.

There’s then an image of the teacher and the student on…what is that? A cliff? A plank? We don’t know, but it looks unsafe. And the teacher is pictured as literally pushing the student towards, what looks to be, a fairly large “Goal!!!” (possibly one to become a famous a scientist, an astronaut, or in this kid’s case, a world-renowned artist) at the bottom of said cliff/plank.

There you have it. Appreciation is often shown in unusual ways, but this kid nails it.

Teachers, don’t push your students off cliffs, but do push them towards goals.
